Our bathroom smells, although all surfaces were cleaned and bleached. We never have cat urine on our carpet or even in the laundry. Candles help mask the odor, but it comes back. The best way to get rid of the scent of cat urine is to know exactly where it came from.

You need a black light. Make sure your bathroom is dark, turn on the light or dark and look around. Cat's urine glows under black light, so it was easy to see.

After finding cat urine, a good cleaner with enzymes such wonders of nature, or Anti-Icky Poo. A good way to ensure that, from the smell that comes a hard surface, saturate a paper towel to cover for the source of the smell, with plastic wrap and leave overnight.

If you are not the first time, put a couple of times, it takes sometimes more than once, if the urine has been quite some time. Remember to check out the area with the black light again, whether the urine is gone. If you still see, you probably feel, still.

It may be in another area. You can try to be creative and try to discover how a chat room and the places where you can look like.

Bleach does a good job in killing bacteria and stains of death, but perhaps not the best solution to kill the smell. Maybe the mask is a little bit, though. You can try using a solution of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. I saw on MythBusters as they used to kill the smell of skunk too.
